Too Much Information (TMI) plays classic rock, blues, folk, and a growing list of original tunes. The band covers a wide range of artists, including Santana, John Mellencamp, Prince, The B52s, Bob Seger, Poison, REO Speedwagon, and many more. TMI’s music is universally fun and familiar, with a broad appeal to all ages.

The band represents a diverse spectrum of cultures and identities, which is evident in the selection and arrangement of their music–and especially in their originals.

Each individual artists’ talents are apparent in every set. Lead vocalist Michael Woodward’s whiskey tenor voice is one of Tucson’s best kept secrets. He is complimented by the rich vocal blends of David Perez (lead guitar and vocals), Jennifer R. Lopez (rhythm guitar and vocals), Traci Payer (vocals), and Bill Piacenza (percussion and vocals). The band takes every opportunity to showcase Perez’ exceptional guitar skills, while Sandra Starling keeps the party hopping on bass.

TMI made its first public appearance at the Epic Café on Fourth Avenue in Tucson on March 25, 2005. Since then the band has appeared at venues large and small all over Arizona, as well as headlining events as far as away as Atlanta and Los Angeles.

The band has twice been named a finalist for “Best Cover Band” at the Tucson Area Music Awards. They have been featured at a number of local events and venues including the Tucson Folk Festival, Fourth Avenue Street Fair, Phoenix Pride, Bisbee Pride, and Tucson Pride, as wel as dozens of fundraising events for organizations such as Child & Family Resources and the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.

TMI is the perfect band for your wedding reception, corporate event, New Year’s Eve celebration, or private house party. To request a demo or to book the band for your party or event, contact michael@tmi-band.com or call Jennifer at 520-571-7878.
