2011 is right around the corner, which means it’s time for the annual Tranny Roadshow logo contest! Each year the Tranny Roadshow gets a new logo design to be used on flyers, posters, t-shirts, stickers, buttons, etc. Past logos have been designed by a variety of fabulous trans artists including Red Durkin, Johnny Blazes, and Adelaide Windsome, among others. “I have the word ‘Paradox’ tattooed onto my chest,” reveals author, artist, performer, and activist Sassafras Lowrey, who uses the gender-neutral pronouns ze and hir. The tattoo hints at Lowrey’s complicated gender identity. “I came out as trans when I was 18 and lived as an FTM—including several years of being on testosterone.”
