It’s been awhile so I wanted to just throw out a few quick updates:

**First of all I would like to apologize for the lack of updating over the past few months. We’re aware that we’ve been behind posting some artist profiles and updating the free CD giveaway and promise that by this Sunday we’ll be back on course to finish out the rest of the Artists on the CD, and start posting new Artists again! (if you’ve submitted something and haven’t heard from me I will be contacting you soon)
Trans-Genre Compilation CD:
Since it’s release in January we’ve sold/distributed almost 150 copies of ‘Trans-Fusions’ all across the US! Trans-Fusions was listed as one of the albums to look out for in 2009 by Jacob Anderson-Minshall, and has developed quite a buzz throughout the global Transgender Community. This is a phenomenal Achievement considering the current struggles I know most of us are facing in these hard times.
Still to do: send copies to radio stations & make avaliable for Digital Download
We are Planning on Releasing the Second Trans-Genre Compilation CD within the next year so be on the look out for more great music & art from the Trans-Genre Community!
Trans-Genre is Growing!
In just a little over a year Trans-Genre has grown from 12 Artists to over 30, has over 150 registered users, released it’s first compilation CD, toured for 7 weeks through the midwest, south, New England states, and up the east coast, and boosted it’s page views & visitors by 300% this quarter from last quarter. *Takes a deep breathe….. Wow. And Congratulations! This project relies on the Community and Support of all of you and I can’t thank you enough.
The Potential for this project is endless, and we have many great things yet to come.
Due to this awesome expansion and my being spread so thin to keep up I am happy to announce a few new additions to the Trans-Genre Team! You can learn more about them here…
Registration Requirements:
Trans-Genre has taken down the Registration Requirement to see full artist profiles. Originally we thought this requirement would help curb spammers, however we came to the conclusion that it was only keeping folks who were interested, but hesitant to sign up, from getting the information we wanted them to have. (For the record I also hate giving out my email address, so I feel you there’)
We will be going over the coming benefits of Registration in a future post. In the meantime, I want to thank all the folks who have taken the time to Register. Your support is greatly appreciated
