As you can imagine, after 10 years performing and writing songs, I’ve collected quite a library. So, every other week I’m going to re-release one of my older songs for #ThrowBackThursday along with a little story of its history. Ready? GO!
I wrote Dudebrology before I left Michigan for Chicago. The Locust Street house, where I lived with my good friend Rob, was just a block or two away from Frat Row. As you can imagine with a name like “Frat Row” it was quite notorious for its popped collars and red solo cups. We would joke about how “Crash into Me” by Dave Matthews Band was the mating call of your average Midwestern dudebro, which was the inspirational spark for the song.
